When the Heart of Man is Opened
When the heart of man is opened, when we hear the voice within,
Then the day of gladness cometh, then departs the night of sin
Then rejoicing shall liveth, no more the fear of death
But the death of fear shall spread, with God’s praise on every breath.
When the heart of man is opened, there will be no need to doubt,
For then there shall be perfect faith—he will not look without
For closest to his bosom—on his innermost threshold
Is the key to every problem. he must just his heart unfold.
When the heart of man is opened, there will be no need to preach
The Silence within will lead you while the tongue beguiles with speech.
Then each shall know what to doeth, and only do the right
Till even right and wrong depart, both blinded by the light.
When the heart of man is opened, when God’s Light shineth through
Then every veil shall disappear, the ties twixt me and you
The ties that bind together, the ties that separate
Shall melt alike in one great fire, when Love shall conquer hate.
When the heart of man is opened, there comes the Light of Day
And in that Day both Heaven and Earth shall pass away
The promised day of Alast, shall be so very near
A day without the realm of time (which we count by month and year).
When the heart of man is opened, when the day of God is here,
Then the self shall be enfolded and the Path ahead be clear
We shall then know our life’s purpose, secrets of death and birth
The reason for God’s Heavens, the reason for God’s Earth.
When the heart of man is opened, when the clouds and mist disperse,
Then the self shall be expanded till it fills the Universe
We shall see what love has taught us, we shall know Life’s great lessons
That God is all and all in all—All cometh from the One.
